Terms

Terms of Service

In effect from 10 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you (and the school you use schedU for) and Jugal Sunar, a sole proprietor trading as Bhusku (“we”). By creating an account or using schedU, you accept them.

1. The service

schedU helps schools, colleges and similar institutions build and run their timetables: setting up classes, subjects, teachers and rooms, generating timetables, editing them, recording who is unavailable and who covers, and sharing, printing and exporting the results. Features differ by plan, as described on the pricing page.

2. Accounts

  • You must be at least 18, or a member of a school's staff using schedU for that school.
  • Keep your sign-in details to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account.
  • If you create an account for a school, you confirm you are allowed to act for it. The school's administrators decide who else may use its account and with what role.

3. Your school's data

The data a school enters stays the school's. We use it only to provide schedU, as our Privacy Policy describes. The school is responsible for having the right to enter it (for example its staff's names and email addresses) and for keeping it accurate. Do not enter students' personal details; schedU does not need them.

Timetables are generated by fixed rules that the school can see and override. Check a timetable before you publish it; the final timetable is the school's decision.

4. Plans and payment

  • The Free plan costs nothing. Paid plans are billed in Indian rupees in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices on the pricing page when you subscribe. Taxes, where they apply, are shown at checkout.
  • Payments are taken by Razorpay. A paid plan renews automatically at the end of each period until it is cancelled.
  • We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you at least 30 days before a change affects a renewal, and you can cancel before it does.
  • While schedU is in early access, some paid features are open to everyone. When that ends, we will give notice in the app.
  • Enterprise plans are agreed in writing with each institution; anything in that agreement that differs from these terms takes precedence.

5. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from the Subscription page. You keep the paid features until the end of the period already paid for, and you are not charged again. Payments are not refunded, except for billing errors, as the Refund and Cancellation Policy explains.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use schedU to break the law, to store material you have no right to, to try to reach another school's data, to probe or overload the service, or to resell it without our written agreement. We may suspend an account that does, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep schedU available and to keep nightly backups, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, and we may change or retire features. If we retire a feature you pay for, we will give you notice and a way to keep your data.

8. Ending your account

You can stop using schedU and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may close an account that breaks these terms, or one on the Free plan that has been unused for over 24 months, after telling you by email. Before deletion you can export your timetables.

9. Responsibility

schedU is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, such as lost time or disruption caused by a timetable, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. For changes that matter, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before they apply; continuing to use schedU after that means you accept them.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction. Please write to us first; most problems are solved by talking.
